Sarah Barrett, creative director and designer at design house Lyn Ashworth, has launched the official campaign for her new White Blooms collection for 2020, and we are thrilled to be sharing it with you.
The new 2020 'White Blooms' Collection showcases designer Sarah's flair for British craftsmanship. This beautiful twelve-piece collection is in a ‘beyond pale’ palette of pillow-soft and structured fabrics. The soft silhouettes will capture the imagination of all brides with timeless shapes, re-worked proportions, ageless elegance and classic femininity, all at the heart of this season's collection.
Imagine light-as-air silk organzas and the billowing volume of light-catching Mikado alongside effortlessly draping silk crepes, duchess satin and dupion taffeta. Add floral, hand appliqued details that have been meticulously placed, delicate spot tulle and pearlised sequins giving breathtaking effects and catching the eye against matte crepe and satin organza backdrops.
This season, Sarah is also taking her gowns from day to evening with an assortment of delicate, sophisticated and playful detachable off the shoulder collar cuffs and capes, helping brides to accessorise their gown throughout her wedding day.
The ethos of the Lyn Ashworth brand is attention to detail, combined with exquisite craftsmanship and materials, and this collection will not disappoint. The high-quality fabrics sourced during the design process for this collection, epitomise the clean fluidity and fresh vibrancy that inspired the name ‘White Blooms’ – and encapsulates the true beauty of the natural world, reflecting the opulence that lies at the heart of this collection.
Equally significant throughout the design process, is the experience of each individual bride. Each style has been designed with the utmost comfort and flexibility in mind and only adds to the effortless style and romance of this collection.
Sarah says, "I believe every woman has her own style and it is essential that they can choose the right silhouette to flatter them. As with all my collections, styles and shapes are easily interchangeable and can build a more bespoke gown for each individual bride, creating something unique and showcasing their own style and personality.
"This year, I wanted to design a collection that not only incorporated the beauty of the natural world but also a collection that evolves with today’s bride. This collection is simple yet intricate and is a fresh approach to elegant, timeless styles that last forever."
