Want to know what goes in to a brand's new collection? We caught up with Katia Charinfo at The House of Nicholas (HON) to tell us about their 2020 bridal offerings…
When did you launch the 2020 HON collection?
"We first showcased the collection at the Harrogate Bridal Show in September, 2019."
What new styles/fabrics have you incorporated into the 2020 collection and why?
"This collection includes much simpler, elegant styles. Mikado is still the favoured fabric, although we have introduced more designs in a beautiful heavy crepe, which falls gracefully and elegantly over the body. The collection comprises some beautiful appliqued gowns, and we have expanded the collection of T-length dresses."
How many designs are in the 2020 collection?
"There are 38 new styles in the collection."
Do you have any favourite designs from the new collection?
"My favourite gown in this collection is 2500. It's a simple, elegant and sophisticated gown in crepe, with a hint of colour and a brooch. In the T-length collection, I love the sassiness of style 2537. It is young, flirty and quite different to the other gowns in the collection."
Which trade shows will you be attending in 2020?
"We'll be attending The Bridal Roadshows in Birmingham South and Harrogate, as well as London Bridal Fashion Week and the Harrogate Bridal Show."
