With a host of new signings, including heavy-hitters such as Veromia, this edition of Harrogate Fashion Week is gearing up to be its best yet
With Harrogate Fashion Week (HFW) getting ready for its next outing on January 26th and 27th, the event is gathering momentum, with new exhibitors aplenty.
Speaking about the show, event director Sarah Moody said, "We've had a much-increased amount of interest in the show for January, and we're con dent that this is what our sector of the fashion industry wants. Exhibitors need to know that, as organisers, we are aware that trading conditions aren't brilliant at the moment, and our service and prices re ect that. And whilst we have hitherto pitched the show primarily at Northern and Scottish buyers, we're also getting more and more interest from buyers from further a eld, including Ireland."
First-time exhibitor Veromia will be bringing four of its brands to HFW; Veromia Occasions – a well-priced dress range; Dress Code – plus sizes from size 16 to 28; Dressed Up – a Mother of the Bride collection; and Irresistible – a top-end range of stunning and elegant occasionwear dresses. Sales manager Avril Forbes said; "There's lots of positive talk about Harrogate Fashion Week, so we thought we'd give it a whirl! And anyway, we all love coming to Harrogate!"
Alice Collins, director at Louise Collins added,"We're delighted to be back in Harrogate, and we're already telling our customers we'll be there. The timing is right and our buyers love coming to this pretty Yorkshire spa town. We're also pleased to note that some excellent brands have joined, and we're looking forward to a really successful show." Nigel Hughes is bringing Picadilly to HFW. He says, "We are pleased to be showing Picadilly A/W20 for the first time at HFW in January. Picadilly is a family business and a leading Canadian brand. The collection is a broad and versatile event dressing collection for all social occasions that includes lots of comfortable smart holiday looks and plenty of nice unstructured soft weekend wear. In addition, there are lots of pretty single pieces for that impulse buy to mix and match – something for everyone."
Harrogate Fashion Week will return for its fourth edition from 26th-27th January 2020. Buyer registration will be opening in the coming weeks.
